Basic Navigation
As part of the macOS Fundamentals, we first need to learn the parts of a mac’s keyboard, and understand the use of its function keys.
First is the switch to turn on and off the unit, and the port to allow us to charge our keyboard using a lightning cable.
Now, on the keyboard, for our function keys, f1 and f2 for brightness, f3 for mission control, f4 launchpad f5 and f6 for keyboard lighting, f7-f9 for rewind, play/pause, and fast forward, f10-12 for mute, volume up and down, and f13 to eject a peripheral.
